We offer a social resource and healthy living centre for people over 50 years of age and offer a wide range of activities that include:

Gentle exercise can help:
- Blood to circulate
- Prevent muscle loss
- Ease tension and stress
We have run keep fit classes from both the Farm Lane Resource Centre at 11 Farm Lane and 105 Greyhound Road. Come and join us for gentle chair based exercise classes on Monday afternoons, sessions start at 1:15 and run till 2:15, classes cost £1.60 for Age Concern members and £1.80 for non Age Concern members.
Yoga can help to:

- Establish patterns of deep relaxation
- Establish a feeling of radiance and inner peace
- Help to ease muscle tension
- Calm nerves and reduce feelings of stress
Sessions are held at 105 Greyhound Road Thursday mornings 11am – 12pm
Sessions cost £1 for Age Concern members and £1.80 for non Age Concern Members

You can learn to play chess in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We have sessions every Thursday afternoon from 2pm – 4pm. Classes are facilitated by Graham Snow, an Age Concern volunteer and are free.
If you have experience in sewing, knitting, crochet or any other type of craft work and you have a few hours to spare on a Thursday afternoon, then you are welcome to come and join our craft group on Thursday afternoons. Sessions are held between 2pm and 4pm.
We have assisted internet access and basic computer classes available at our Greyhound Road centre. Classes are available 11am-2pm on Mondays, 10am-12pm on Tuesdays 11am-1pm Wednesday s and Thursdays and 10am-2pm on Fridays.
We do not charge for the classes but we ask that the cyber café users leave a small donation. Printouts are charged at 5 pence per copy.

Purpose of the Living Well Project
The overall purpose of the Living Well Project is to provide a holistic framework for supporting older people in Hammersmith and Fulham to remain fit enough to remain in control of their lives and improve their health and well being.
The Living Well Project will help older people to take more control of their finances, health and social care by improving their knowledge, access to information activities and services.
Aims and objectives of the project
The aim of the Living Well Project is to substantially improve the health and well-being of older people and their carers in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham providing a range of health promoting activities wanted, needed and chosen by the beneficiaries.
The objectives of the Living Well project are to:
- Improve the health and well being of older people
- Provide opportunities for older people to be healthier and lead more active lives
- Deliver a weekly programme of activities for older people to reduce social isolation for older people and increase opportunities for isolated vulnerable older people to participate in stimulating activities
- Recruit older people as Volunteer Health Mentors to deliver a range of activities and seminars to their peers aimed at improving health and reducing illness through culturally appropriate information sessions and activities
- Empower older people to meet their own health and social care needs through improved financial literacy

If you are interested in taking up a new hobby and make friends with like minded individuals and help us with developing and maintaining our garden then join our gardening project.
