Toe Nail cutting Service
Foot care has an important place in general health. It is particularly important for older people who may experience problems with their feet if they have poor circulation, take less exercise, or are unable to care for their feet in the ordinary way. Difficulty in bending or seeing, or thickened nails makes it hard to cut toenails. Conditions such as arthritis can cause severe functional incapacity and immobility and require complex chiropody to reduce pain and improve function. People with impaired circulation, principally because of diabetes or peripheral vascular disease, require high quality foot care to prevent infection.
Age Concern Hammersmith and Fulham offer a Toe-Nail cutting service to people who are unable to cut their own toe-nails. We aim to help you remain mobile and active. Our Podiatrist is registered with the Health Professions Council and is a member of the Society of Podiatrists.

The service is available to people who are unable to cut their own toe-nails.
